FOREVER is a custom welded aluminum power catamaran built by Maxweld Boats in Hebo, Oregon, started in 2008 and finished and outfitted by North Harbor Diesel in Anacortes, Washington, in 2010. At 33 feet 4 inches overall with a 13-foot beam, she pairs the working-boat strength of an aluminum catamaran with a practical pilothouse, flybridge and open aft deck.
Twin Volvo Penta D6-370A-D diesels were installed during the 2010 outfitting, each rated at 370 hp and coupled to Volvo Penta Duo Prop drives. Three hydraulic steering stations - lower helm, flybridge and cockpit - provide flexibility for cruising, docking, close-quarters handling, and fishing. A Side-Power bow thruster and Lenco trim tabs add control.
The one-level deck leads aft to a sheltered cockpit with transom and side access doors, large engine hatches and a four-foot integrated swimstep. The flybridge offers three swivel seats forward, an L-shaped settee and table, an open aft deck and a centerline gate. Aluminum rails, an electric windlass and generous deck storage suit active use in Pacific Northwest waters.
Inside, the forward double berth is complemented by an enclosed head to port, dinette and bench seating, a raised lower helm with two chairs, and a starboard galley. Diesel cabin heat, hot water, AC/DC refrigeration and shore power support comfortable time aboard.
