This 1976 Richardson 52 Thorfin was custom-built in Meaford, Ontario. Including a 4-foot hydraulic-adjustable Swim Platform, this becomes a 56' Cruiser suitable for large bodies of water.

The big boat is powered by TWIN CATERPILLAR TURBO-DIESEL 3306 ENGINES producing 335HP each! They only have 2025 Hours on them. To help maintain control, there is a Bow Thruster and a Stern Thruster!

Onboard you will find 3 spacious Staterooms! The Master is equipped with a converted Queen Berth and a built in dresser. It also has semi-private access to a full Head. The other 2 Staterooms each offer two twin berths separated by a shared nightstand. Each also includes a dresser.

The Galley is spacious and well-equipped with a full-size fridge/freezer, a built-in wall Pantry, and a built-in wall freezer. The vast counter top features a 2-burner electric stove top w/cutting board cover, a microwave oven, a toaster oven, and a large sink.

The Salon features a very large L-Shaped corner sofa with dinette, a second sofa, TV, and an open staircase to the Bridge. Huge windows allow for lots of natural light. The main floor is covered with newer laminate flooring.

There are TWO Full Heads with VaccuFlush toilets and separate showers.

The Bridge is super-spacious and is fully enclosed with a hard ceiling. It features very large windows, a J-shaped sofa, a nautical-wheel coffee table, and plenty of chairs.

The Cockpit has all the necessary gauges, and navigational tools, with some updated equipment. There is removable canvas panels for if an open air feeling is preferred.

From the Cockpit, you have easy access to the bow which holds two large anchors on an electric windlass chain system. At the rear of the Bridge, there is door access to a 10' Dinghy on a Crane Davit system. The dinghy is powered by a 4hp outboard. This allows easy access to shore without having to pay huge docking fees.

All internal windows wood frame and wall paneling replaced, weather sealed and new outside aluminum frame installed.
Wheel house roof repaired and covered with elastomeric paint / drip edge added to avoid rain water running down on the boat side.
New sewage lines.
Out deck fitting for toilet pump out replaced.
Toilet (head) vacuum pump - replaced bellows and pump diaphragm.
Domestic water pump not replaced with new pump.
Dinghy crane boom upper deck, hydraulic hoses replaced.
Swim platform lift, hydraulic pistons (rams) replaced piston seals.
House Batteries - 6 batteries 6 volts each series and parallel to produce 12v
Engine starting batteries replaced - starboard engine battery for one / Port engine battery to be installed.
Port engine alternator replaced.
Voltage regulators output just 10 volts / New voltage regulators on hand, just to be installed in spring time with the engine running.
Replaced 4 new electrical breakers for 110v ac power and 2 for 12v dc panel.

Chartplotter has USA maps and Canada maps.
